Pip's owner has a lifetime of experience with many varieties of
animals, domestic and wild. Animals are my biggest passion in life, I love
them, as I love my children.

Growing up I did everything I could to work with animals around school,
sports and activities. I worked for a Labrador Retriever Show Kennel, bred
and raised my own Labs. I worked and rode at a horse farm every weekend and
in the evenings after school. I showed at area horse shows, Western &
English. I got my first experiences with breeding and raising Thoroughbred
Race Horses during this time. The time was well spent, constantly learning
all aspects of horses. This led me to want to major Animal Science in
College and minor in Equine Breeding, Training, and Teaching.

I have an Animal Science Degree from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr,
Pennsylvania. I specialized in Equine and am also certified as a Riding
Instructor. I also have many years of experience with riding and showing
English Seat, Show Jumping, Equitation, Dressage
and Combined Training. As well as training young horses from the ground. My
summers during my college years were spent working with horses at area farms
doing the same.

After graduating from college, I worked for a world renown, Standardbred
Horse Breeding Farm & Equine Clinic & Surgery (Walnridge Farm, Cream Ridge,
NJ) My initial job title was foaling manager. We bred over 1000 mares a
year. We foaled over 700 mares a year. We raised over 120 yearlings a year
that we trained and prepped for sale or to go directly to training. We stood
6 stallions during my time of employment. I became Farm Manager of the
sister farm and managed the barren, maiden mares, weanlings, and yearlings
as well as breeding. I worked directly with our Veterinarians concerning
numerous cases that occur at a large breeding facility, also neo-natal
foals, emergency care, surgery care, artificial insemination/collecting and
lab work, ultrasound for pregnancy, stallion handling, as well as with our
farrier, hay and feed companies, concerning nutrition health and growth. I
worked there until I had my first son. I semi-retired to raise our children.

My background with other animals besides horses include, dogs, (showing,
breeding, whelping, litter care), Cats (numerous litters, even a C-section)
Hamsters, Birds (breeding, hatching & care). Hogs, my husband and I worked
in a1400 local sow unit. (Breeding, Farrowing, Litter Care, Farrow to Wean).
Goats (my close friend owns Nubians she breeds, shows, milks and kids).

Personally I own or have owned numerous breeds of Dogs, Cats, Horses, Birds,
Hamsters, Rabbits, Goats, Fish, Chickens. While owning these various animals
I have learned and loved so much. I have some wildlife experience with
Rabbits, Snakes, Raccoons, Skunks, and a numerous amount of  Water Fowl. My
Dad was and is a "Bird Brain". Including a Loon in our bathtub, temporarily
until we could get it to a local facility.

I now own three dogs, a cat and a rabbit. The dogs are an English
Mastiff/Border Collie cross (140lbs), Australian Shepherd, and a Jack
Russell Terrier. My Mastiff cross is certified as a Therapy Dog for Therapy
Dogs International. I did some brief agility with my rescued "Aussie" and
plan to begin agility training with my "Jack" soon.

I am proud to offer this convenient service in our area. Pet/Farm sitting is
popular in many parts of the country and is now available here. I am a
member of Pet Sitters International (one of a few, reputable pet sitting
educational organizations). PSI has over 5,100 members and in a recent
survey over 500,000 customers utilize pet or farm sitting services
throughout the United States.

Please note, I am dedicated to staying with current trends in the Pet/Farm
industries and maintaining awareness what pet owners desire. I am fully
insured, bonded, committed to quality care and customer satisfaction, and
have references available upon request.
